Job Responsibility:
- Develop and oversee HSE manual and plans (i.e. traffic plan, emergency response and evacuation)
- Develop and oversee HSE policy and procedures (i.e. emergency drills, Job Safety Analysis, site inspection, PPE, heat stress, risk assessment, machine guarding and equipment inspection, firefighting and alarm, scaffolding and electrical safety)
- Ensure the company is complying with ISO 45001, Saudi and Aramco HSE regulations, standards, and requirements (i.e. review mission of statement and pre-qualifications)
- Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports for company and Aramco as a key contractor including PMO HSE reports and HSE NCR
- Inspect, monitor, assess, audit and control safety officers and supervisors with safety KPIs and take corrective actions, penalties and control measures after observations
- Ensure safe, clean and healthy environmental for all employees and stakeholders including mental and physical health for optimum performance
- Manage risk communications and awareness among internal and external stakeholders including incident\accident investigations, conflict management, safety signs, campaigns, training (i.e. safety train matrix) and orientations (i.e. toolbox safety)
- Develop safety documentation system in digital and hard copies in collaboration with our document control officer
- Collaborate with purchasing department for safety equipment, tools and supplies
- Collaborate with logistics department in planning safety related activities and scheduling
- HSE Liaison between executives from safety team, site team and WPR with management from (i.e. operations director, Aramco PMT, construction, and project managers) to ensure plans are executed efficiently and effectively
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in engineering or safety related degree preferably with postgraduate and professional qualifications (i.e. NEBOSH, OSHA, first aid)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HSE at construction or engineering companies including 5 years’ experience in supervisory and management role
- Must have Aramco approved safety position and experience with thorough knowledge of Aramco safety requirements, procedures and standards
- Leadership, conflict and team management skills
- Advanced HSE knowledge of construction work at sites preferably in Aramco projects
- Thorough knowledge of Saudi labour regulations and familiar with Aramco regulations, standards and requirements
- Good manners, professional attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Strong English language and other professional skills (i.e. digital literacy)
- Residence must be in the Eastern Province
